No! While the majority of runners will be IU students and alumni, anyone is encouraged to participate.
This run is completely free. We only ask that you consider making a donation to WildCare. For information on WildCare's mission and how to donate, visit https://discoverwildcare.org/.
There are two, large parking lots just across the street from Dunn Meadow that are completely free. To get there, just turn left of Indiana Ave onto 6th street and park in the lots on either side. Overflow parking is available in the IMU Biddle Hotel lot for a small fee. There will be signs directing you to the parking lots.
The Run Forrest Run 5K takes a scenic route across IU’s stunning campus, starting in Dunn Meadow, and ending at the Sample Gates. It takes place entirely on pavement, has a 152 ft. net elevation gain, and is 3.10 miles or 5 kilometers distance.
All times will be recorded and available after the race on the race website.

Explore every aspect of IU’s artistic community in a scavenger hunt across campus, hosted by Union Board! Whether in teams or alone, competitors will meet at the Indiana Memorial Union Gallery, located in the IMU Starbucks, at 2pm and race across campus to complete the quest for a selection of prizes.
