Getting to the IMU
From the north
- Take IN-37 S toward Bloomington. (turns into I-69)
- Exit I-69 S onto IN-45 N/IN-46 E.
- Turn right on N. College Avenue.
- Turn left on W. Seventh Street.
From the south
- Take I-69 N toward Bloomington.
- Exit I-69 N onto W. Bloomfield Road.
- Continue onto W. Second Street.
- Turn left on S. Henderson Street.
- Continue straight onto S. Indiana Avenue.
- Turn right on E. Seventh Street.
From the east
- Take IN-46 W toward Bloomington.
- Continue straight onto E. Third Street.
- Turn right on S. Indiana Avenue.
- Turn right on E. Seventh Street.
From the west
- Take IN-45 N/IN-46 E toward Bloomington.
- Turn right on N. College Avenue.
- Turn left on E. Seventh Street.
Parking at the IMU
Locations
IMU visitors may park in either of the IMU pay lots adjacent to the building. Both lots are open from 7 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
- IMU pay lot #1 is located along the east side of the building, just south of Seventh Street. The entrance is at the intersection of Seventh Street and Forrest Avenue.
- IMU pay lot #2 is located on the north side of the building, directly across Seventh Street. The entrance is on Eighth Street between Woodlawn Avenue and Forrest Avenue.
Rates
Parking validation is available for IMU visitors who park in either of the pay lots. Visitors with parking validation pay a discounted rate; otherwise, standard pay lot rates apply.
Biddle Hotel guests parking in the IMU lots will be charged a daily fee of $6/car on their hotel folio.
Monday through Friday
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: $2.50 per half hour
7 p.m. to midnight: $1.75 per half hour
Saturday and Sunday
$1.50 per half hour
Daily maximum of $28 per car per entrance to the lot.
Complimentary Parking Rates
The parking rate may be billed to a department or event account so the patron does not pay for parking as they exit the lot.
Special Event Parking Rate
The special Event Parking Rate of $10.00 will be charged to the patrons as they enter the lots on dates where there is a large function.
Cash, Credit, and CrimsonCard accepted.
Monday through Friday
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: $1.50 per half hour
7 p.m. to midnight: $1.25 per half hour
Saturday and Sunday
$1.00 per half hour
Daily maximum of $14 per car per entrance to the lot.

Special Event Parking Rate
The special Event Parking Rate of $10.00 will be charged to the patrons as they enter the lots on dates where there is a large function.
