Give Back

How will you give back?

Union Board alumni have been among the Indiana Memorial Union’s strongest supporters since its earliest years. When Indiana University established the Memorial Fund Drive in 1921 to raise funds to build the IMU, Union Board alumni were significant contributors to the campaign.

Nearly 100 years later, that tradition of giving continues with the work of the John Whittenberger Society, the official alumni organization for Union Board. If you served at least one term on Union Board, you’re automatically a member of the society—and you’ve got lots of ways to give back.

Your financial support is vital to the continued success and growth of the John Whittenberger Society, Union Board, and the IMU. When you make a gift, you’re helping fund scholarships for Union Board directors and committee members, Union Board leadership retreats, and special projects that enhance the work of Union Board and benefit the IMU.

This scholarship has allowed me to use money I would have spent on tuition to pursue a summer internship in New York City.
