The Student Involvement and Leadership Center (SILC) is here to help you find your community and enrich your Hoosier experience. Our department fosters growth and learning among all students by designing and supporting inclusive experiences and engaging opportunities that connect those we serve with the campus, the community, each other, and themselves.
As a part of the Indiana Memorial Union, SILC provides information, programs, and resources about how to get involved, including yearly Student Involvement Fairs, student programs like Late Nite and Second Year Experience, leadership training, coaching for student leaders, advising for three campus-wide student organizations (IU Student Government, IU Funding Board, and Union Board), and the Club Hub, a space designed to bring student organizations together for collaboration and meetings.
