Late Nite

In accordance with President McRobbie’s message regarding Indiana University’s response to coronavirus COVID-19, all Late Nite events for the remainder of spring semester are cancelled. Attend popular movie screenings, live bands, comedy shows, and more performances by students and featured guests. Each week will feature a brand-new lineup of activities and attractions, so come out every weekend to see what’s new with IU Late Nite.

If you’re a night owl, the IMU’s Late Nite events are right up your alley. Held from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on most Fridays during the fall and spring semesters, Late Nite features activities that will entertain you into the early-morning hours, like live music performances and comedy shows, karaoke, trivia games, laser tag, arcade games, roller skating, table tennis, bungee trampolines, casino games, giant Jenga, DIY art projects, and more—all in the IMU.

Late Nite takes place at the IMU on Friday nights from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m

Upcoming Late Nites: 

January 17: Winter Welcome
An ice skating rink and food trucks will be provided outside of Alumni Hall. You can also warm up with a hot chocolate and MYO Resolution Bracelets in the Starbucks. The Poster Sale will be open.

January 24: Lunar New Year (Year of the Rat)
Crafts, goodie bags, and karaoke will help you celebrate the year of the rat. Count down the start of the Spring Festival with Late Nite!

January 31: Bachelor in Bloomington
From the most dramatic season in all of Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise history, Blake is coming to IU to share the hottest gossip about the summer’s juiciest scandal. Bachelor Nation, you’ve been watching him from your living room for two seasons now, but now’s your chance to see him LIVE! Don’t miss out on getting the inside scoop from one of the Bachelor’s most talked about contestants.

February 7: Slumber Party
Professional pancake artist Dancakes will be there to create artwork that is good enough to eat. Pajamas are encouraged!

February 14: Life's a Drag Show
Featuring amazing Bloomington talent, including our fabulous hostess Gaia Ciccone, come see who will wear the coveted crown at this year’s drag show!

February 21: Murder Mystery
Put on your poodle skirts and letter sweaters, it’s time to Sock Hop! But beware, this dance has a twist… You’ll have to solve a murder! Come hungry and bring your detective gear. A buffet dinner will be provided and costumes are strongly encouraged! RSVP on BeInvolved to reserve your spot.​

February 28: Game Nite
Ready for a Late Nite Campus Feud? Only one way to find out! Put your team together for a chance to win a cash prize! Continue the fun with a myriad of board-game-style games!

March 6: Headphone Disco
Maybe you've been to a headphone disco, but we're taking it to the next level! Customize your dancing experience by tuning in to an individualized DJ station. Whichever DJ has the most plays at the end of the night takes home a cash prize! Bring a group of friends and rock out (in silence) during this unique night on the town!

April 10: Trivia Nite
Think you’re smarter than your fellow Hoosiers? Test your knowledge during Trivia Nite in the IMU Starbucks for the chance to win a cash prize!

April 17: Earth Nite
In honor of Earth Day, we are hosting a night dedicated to our planet! You can plant your own bamboo or succulents or take a shot at sustainable trivia to win some great prizes! Earth-themed foods will be offered.

April: 24 Karaoke Nite
Sing your heart out during Karaoke Nite! Choose your favorite song from over 90 playlists and take to the stage to have your star moment! The Folklore & Ethnomusicology Student Association (FESA) will also be hosting Story Jams, where anyone can share stories or songs in front of a crowd!
