Current committees serving Union Board
The Indiana Memorial Union Board is composed of 13 active programming committees, all of which deal with a different part of the groups mission statement. Each committee works in a different programming area, with the exception of the Design Committee and Public Relations Committee, which serve in support of the entire Board.
All committee meetings are open. We encourage you to visit a meeting and get involved in programming on the IUB campus. Those who show up make the decisions!

Mondays @ 6:30 p.m. | canvas
To provide an expressive outlet for students by fostering and supporting the arts community. Through readership expansion and content diversification, Canvas aims to unite the student body and celebrate unique perspectives.
Wednesdays @ 7 p.m. | ubcomedy
To bring high-quality comedic programs to the students, utilizing the unique and diverse background of each of our committee members.
Tuesdays @ 6:15 p.m. | concerts
To produce a diverse line-up of popular concerts featuring a variety of musical acts to suit the tastes of the IU community.

Harnessing the power of creativity to promote the events of Union Board.

To provide cinematic entertainment, including sneak previews, festivals, and speakers to the students and community of IU.

Lectures – Andrew Dahlen

Live From Bloomington – Jordan Bleckner

To foster the thriving Bloomington music scene by providing excellent live performances from the finest local and regional bands, as well as giving up-and-coming musicians a medium to showcase their music.
Outreach – Jessica Englert

To create diverse programming for students historically underserved by Union Board. By forming mutually beneficial partnerships, Outreach will promote a rich and inclusive campus community.
Performing Arts- Alexa Lopez

To provide creative, diverse, influential programs in the performing arts, satisfying all audences of the student body and community.

The IMU -
Union Board is the largest student programming body on the IUB campus. It organizes a diverse range of events and activities around which students may come together, explore multiple world views, historic and current events, and learn from one another.
